Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) ETFs Record Inflows, Signaling Market Recovery

U.S. exchange-traded funds tracking Bitcoin (BTC) recorded a massive jump in inflows on Monday, while Ether (ETH) ETFs showed signs of recovery after three days of weak flows.

According to data from Sosovalue, 12 spot Bitcoin ETFs drew in $588.22 million in inflows on Jan. 30, nearly a 540% jump from the inflows recorded the previous day.

BlackRock's IBIT ETF led the inflows once again as the fund attracted $321.5 million in inflows from investors. Fidelity's FBTC ETF followed with an inflow of $209.14 million, while Bitwise's BITB and ARK 21Shares' ARKB ETF saw an inflow of $22.98 million and $12.64 million, respectively.

Interestingly, none of the BTC ETFs experienced outflows on the day. The following BTC ETFs also contributed to the positive momentum:

The total trading volume of these investment products stood at $2.94 billion while the cumulative total net inflow surpassed $40 billion for the first time since their launch.

The BTC ETFs now hold total net assets of $123.43 billion, which marks 5.94% of the total BTC supply. At press time, Bitcoin (BTC) was down 0.8% over the past 24 hours, exchanging hands at $104,267 per coin.

Ether ETFs bounce back

The nine Ethereum ETFs also flipped to inflows on Jan. 30 with $67.77 million entering the funds, ending three days of negative momentum. During this period, $141.07 million exited the funds over two days.

BlackRock's ETHA ETF led the inflows as investors poured $79.86 million into the fund. Fidelity's FETH ETF recorded inflows of $15.41 million, while Grayscale's Mini Ethereum Trust attracted $12.79 million.

Grayscale's ETHE fund was the only outlier of the day, reporting an outflow of $40.29 million, which offset a significant portion of the inflows. The remaining five Ethereum ETFs remained neutral.

Meanwhile, the total trading volume for these investment vehicles stood at $306.99 million, with total net inflows since launch reaching $2.73 billion. Over the past 24 hours, Ethereum (ETH) rose 1.5%, trading at $3,248 per coin.
