On Friday, April 26, four young UNICEF reporters visited the Mampala 1 Health Center in Lubumbashi, Haut-Katanga, to encourage parents to keep their children's vaccination records up to date during the ongoing vaccination week.

Esther Balenga, a parent from Lubumbashi, explained why her children had missed some vaccinations: "Only two of my children have not been fully vaccinated. My son is 2 years old, and my daughter is 1 year and 6 months old. We were constantly traveling, and I was unable to get them all the necessary vaccines."

Sometimes, women may overlook certain aspects, which is why it is essential for men to be involved. Their presence ensures that the child's health is taken seriously."
