Pastoral icon Rick Warren’s X account has been hacked, with hackers promoting a meme coin in several posts to his followers.

The account, which has the username @RickWarren and is verified by X, is still displaying several posts written by the hackers. In one post, which is currently pinned to the top of the page, the hackers have added to a previous post Warren made regarding his change of heart on the issue of women pastors.

Several other posts on Warren’s X profile dating back to Wednesday (March 12) also promote the $LORD coin, as well as another meme coin called $CHRIST.

Out of concern for his followers on X, Warren is seeking to get the word out via other social media platforms.

In a statement released on Wednesday, a spokesperson for Saddleback confirmed that the church is no longer part of the Southern Baptist Convention.

In a post on X, Pastor Warren expressed his sadness over the church's departure from the SBC, but said that he had no regrets about his decision to ordain women pastors.
