In a recent interview, he described himself as a “major believer” in bitcoin, highlighting its legitimacy as a financial instrument and its potential as a hedge against currency debasement and political instability. In October last year, Fink highlighted bitcoin’s growing legitimacy as an investment, calling it an alternative to commodities like gold. “We believe bitcoin is an asset class in itself,” he said.
