Jamshedpur: Students from 24 local schools received comprehensive training in sustainability and cyber security, thanks to an initiative by SAFE. The event was held at Kudy Mahanty Auditorium in Kadma and saw students from grades 6-8 participating actively.

The program was launched by Neeraj Sinha, Chief Safety, Tata Steel, and saw Professor Kalyan Bhaskar sharing innovative sustainability practices with the students.

“Understanding environmental responsibility starts with simple daily actions,” said one student participant.

Highlighting the importance of digital security in today's world, Jyotshna Singh covered essential online safety measures during her session. Students were made aware of emerging cyber threats and the importance of reporting suspicious activity.

With a presence across 51 schools in Tata Steel Jamshedpur and Raw Materials locations, SAFE's initiative is set to benefit a large number of students.

The sessions also included interactive quizzes to test student understanding, and token gifts were distributed to the participants. Mom Mitra, SAFE Convenor, guided the proceedings.

The impact of this program is set to multiply, as the trained students will now educate their peers, creating a chain of knowledge sharing and spreading awareness on these crucial topics.
