Jordan has announced an initiative to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets, following the recent announcement of an ambitious blockchain roadmap.

The initiative was approved during a recent Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, which focused on emerging technologies. According to the state-owned Jordan News Agency, the framework aims to align with global digital asset standards and boost the country's digital economy.

The Prime Minister also appointed a committee to oversee the formulation of the framework, chaired by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
