If, on the other hand, a more effective chain comes along that beats Solana on its technical chops, it might be a problem.

There are already a slew of projects on Solana claiming to offer infrastructure for AI agents to hold resources on and interact with the blockchain. But it remains to be seen if those projects will actually generate value in a way that attracts more capital to invest in Solana or its tokens.
