Taking to his popular TikTok channel, American Standard K9, which boasts a massive 3.6 million followers, trainer Garret Wing unveiled his "top three XL dog breeds we don't recommend."

Garret slotted the Tibetan Mastiff into third place, presenting it as a "monster of a dog" that can hit the scales at 68kg and reach heights of 26 inches.

He noted: "[It] can take out an entire pack of wolves. So do you really need that in your home with small children? I don't think so."

Moreover, he highlighted their challenging temperament, mentioning their stubbornness, which can make training difficult, before wrapping up his thoughts: "Gorgeous animals, but probably not a good fit for you," as reported by Surrey Live.

Garret elaborated: "You basically have to rearrange your entire house, even down to getting a crate and taking them places. Where's your coffee table, and where are you going to put your cup? We're talking about a dog that's just too big for most homes."
