In its filing, VanEck has highlighted this potential by comparing Solana to well-known commodities like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The proposed Bitwise Solana ETF will aim to track the price of SOL, as per state department filings. This initiative is part of Bitwise's broader expansion, which follows a 400% increase in its assets under management (AUM) this year, now totaling at least $5 billion.

Additionally, its daily revenue reached $5.9 million, ranking just behind Tether's $13.3 million.
