ジョージア国立銀行は、進行中のヨーロッパ青少年オリンピック冬のフェスティバルに捧げられたシルバーコレクターコインを導入しました。

ポーランドの造幣局で5,000の限定版で造られたシルバーコインは、ヨーロッパ青少年オリンピックフェスティバルの組織委員会と協力して銀行によって発行されました。

Georgia’s central bank has issued a silver collector coin dedicated to the ongoing European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in the country, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) said on Sunday.

ジョージア州中央銀行は、ジョージア国立銀行（NBG）が日曜日に述べた、国内で進行中のヨーロッパ青少年冬のフェスティバルに特化した銀コレクターコインを発行しました。

The silver coins, minted in a limited edition of 5,000 at the Polish Mint, were issued by the Bank in collaboration with the Organising Committee of the European Youth Olympic Festival.

The obverse of the coin features a skier on a snowy mountain backdrop, with coloured details and the denomination ‘5 GEL’, while inscriptions of ‘the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival’ and ‘Bakuriani 2025’ are curved along the edge, separated by snowflakes.

コインの表側には、雪に覆われた山の背景にスキーヤーが特徴で、色付きのディテールと宗派「5ジェル」があり、「ヨーロッパユースオリンピック冬祭り」と「バクリアーニ2025」の碑文は、スノーフレークで区切られた端に沿って湾曲しています。

The reverse of the coin showcases the festival logo in colours, set against a snowy mountain backdrop, along with the inscription of ‘Georgia’.

コインの逆には、「ジョージア」の碑文とともに、雪に覆われた山の背景に設定されたフェスティバルのロゴが色のフェスティバルロゴを紹介しています。

At the presentation event, the NBG Governor Natia Turnava highlighted the significance of the issuance of the coins, saying the Bank had “exclusive right to mint collector coins, a tradition upheld by leading central banks worldwide”.

“The European Youth Olympic Winter Festival is one of the most important sporting events, and I am delighted that Bakuriani is its host in 2025. This marks an important milestone in the history of Georgian winter sports. […] Through this initiative, the NBG contributes to strengthening Georgia’s image as a host of major international sporting events”, Turnava added.

「ヨーロッパのユースオリンピックウィンターフェスティバルは、最も重要なスポーツイベントの1つであり、2025年にバクリアーニがホストであることを嬉しく思います。 […]このイニシアチブを通じて、NBGはジョージアのイメージを多くの主要な国際スポーツイベントとして強化することに貢献しています」とターンバは付け加えました。

The presentation was attended by Spyros Capralos, the President of the European Olympic Committee, Leri Khabelov, the President of the country’s National Olympic Committee, Mamuka Khabareli, the Chair of the Organising Committee of the Festival, as well as the father of Nodar Kumaritashvili, the athlete who tragically lost his life at the 2010 Olympic Games, and the son of a veteran ski jumper Koba Tsakadze.
