Recently, Metaplanet expanded its crypto portfolio with the acquisition of 150 Bitcoin (BTC) for approximately $12.5 million. This latest purchase brings Metaplanet's total Bitcoin holdings to 3,200 BTC, with a total investment of about $266.2 million.

CEO Simon Gerovich mentioned that the firm has been actively pursuing its Bitcoin investment strategy since April 2024.
