Decentraland, a blockchain platform that combines elements of virtual reality and digital assets, is celebrating its fifth anniversary by inviting users to share their reasons for joining the community.

Submissions will be accepted until February 23, 12:00 AM UTC, with five winners selected to receive 500 MANA each.

To participate, users must share their stories on Twitter, tagging @decentraland and including the hashtag #Decentraland5.

The platform will then select the most compelling and engaging submissions to be declared as the winners.

Decentraland is a digital space where users interact and participate in content creation. The platform's mechanism is based on the use of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) — unique assets that represent virtual land parcels called LAND. Each LAND parcel is unique and owned by only one owner, and it can be occupied by various virtual buildings or objects. All decisions regarding the development and management of Decentraland are made through voting by token holders within a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
