Federica Brignone won the women's super-G at Cortina d'Ampezzo on Sunday to extend her overall World Cup lead as American comeback queen Lindsey Vonn crashed out.

日曜、コルティナ・ダンペッツォで行われた女子スーパー大回転でフェデリカ・ブリニョーネが優勝し、アメリカの逆転女王リンゼイ・ボンが転倒する中、ワールドカップ全体のリードを広げた。

Veteran Brignone, already the oldest woman to win a World Cup race at the age of 34, claimed the honours with a time of one minute and 21.64 seconds, 0.58sec ahead of reigning overall and discipline champion Lara Gut-Behrami.

ベテランのブリニョーネ選手は、34歳ですでにワールドカップレースで優勝した最年長女性であり、総合優勝と種目別チャンピオンのララ・ガット・ベーラミ選手を0.58秒上回る1分21秒64のタイムで優勝した。

Vonn, who returned to competition in December after a year out following knee surgery, lost control on a right-hander and slid off the course.

膝の手術から1年ぶりに12月に競技に復帰したボンは、右打者のコントロールを失い、コースから滑り落ちた。

The 38-year-old, who has won 82 World Cup races, was able to ski down to the finish area and appeared unhurt.

ワールドカップで82勝を挙げている38歳は、ゴールエリアまで滑り降りることができ、無傷だったようだ。

Vonn's crash came a day after she finished 10th in the downhill at Cortina, her best result since returning to the circuit.

ボンのクラッシュは、コルティナのダウンヒルでサーキット復帰以来最高の成績となる10位でフィニッシュした翌日に起きた。

Brignone's victory was her third of the season and the 18th of her career, moving her 110 points clear of Gut-Behrami in the overall standings.

ブリニョーネの勝利は今季3回目、キャリアでは18回目で、総合順位でガット・ベーラミに110ポイントの差をつけた。

Vonn is 10th overall, 461 points behind Brignone.

ボンはブリニョーネとは461ポイント差の総合10位。
