Unveiling the Satoshi Nakamoto Statue in Lugano, Switzerland

Today, at the 3rd Annual Plan ₿ Forum, the Mayor of Lugano, Michele Foletti, has revealed a new statue of the founder and creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.

ルガーノ市はテザーと共同で「プランB」という取り組みを行っており、この取り組みの一環として、ブロックチェーン業界のリーダー、政府関係者、Bitcoin愛好家らが、このサトシ・ナカモト像の除幕式に招待された。
この像は、美しい邸宅の前で披露され、サトシ・ナカモトの謎めいた存在感と先駆者精神に敬意を表したものとなった。この像は、見る角度によって見え方が変化する巧妙なデザインとなっている。見る人が遠ざかるにつれて、像は徐々に視界から消えていき、サトシが公の場から姿を消したことを象徴している。

「我々は、プランBフォーラムを主催し、ブロックチェーン技術とデジタル資産の成長を支援できることを誇りに思っています。また、この像を置くことで、Bitcoinの生みの親に敬意を表すことができています」と、ルガーノ市長ミケーレ・フォレッティは述べた。
ブダペストのサトシ像
この像は、Bitcoinの台頭を称える動きの一部となっており、2021年にはハンガリー・ブダペストのグラフィソフト・パークに、最初となるサトシ・ナカモト像が建立された。ブダペストの像は、見る人が像に映り込むことで「サトシ」の一部を見出すことができるという、ナカモトの匿名性を表現したものとなっている。
