In this interview, Zac, a core contributor and community lead at Slingshot, provides insights into why the project chose to develop on Roblox, plans to ramp up game production and the role AI will play in the ecosystem.

As one of the largest gaming ecosystems in the world, Roblox presents a massive, untapped market primed for crypto integration, according to Zac.

“Roblox gamers are the next generation of crypto investors — if they aren’t already. With over $10 billion spent annually across its ecosystem, it’s a perfect springboard into broader user-generated content ecosystems like Fortnite, where we plan to launch in early 2024 with a selection of specially curated titles and a community-driven approach to selecting the best games.”

Slingshot’s entry into Roblox and then Fortnite is just the beginning.

original merchandise, launching media extensions like movies and shaping the future of interactive entertainment powered by crypto. It’s a bold vision, but we have the team, the community and the technology to make it a reality.”

Slingshot has already released 11 games on Roblox that have surpassed 1 billion plays and currently boast over 3 million monthly active players.

Slingshot combines cutting-edge tech, elite creative talent and tight coordination to generate hundreds of game ideas, which are then voted on by the community to select the best concepts. The top-rated games are incubated through our ecosystem from concept to launch.

With a distribution network that reaches over 80 million players inside the Roblox ecosystem and a community that rallies behind each title, every game backed by Slingshot has the potential to achieve massive scale and engagement from day one.

In 2025, we’re targeting the launch of 30 new games — a major value driver for the Slingshot brand and a testament to our ability to scale and adapt in a rapidly changing industry.”

Slingshot has generated over $5 million in revenue over the past three years.

“This capital isn't sitting idle — it’s fueling the expansion of our ecosystem and the development of new games and experiences.

Slingshot is actively in discussion with several major centralized exchanges to expand the reach of the SLING utility token and drive greater product engagement.
