1983 Royal Arms £1 coin being offered for £2,500 on eBay

A rare Royal Arms £1 coin, which was first introduced into circulation in 1983, is being sold on eBay for £2,500.

The coin, which is being sold by a seller in the UK, can either be collected in person or delivered via Royal Mail First Class Signed For at a postage cost of £7.95.

The coin is described by the seller as being in "good condition for age" and having "light scratches on both sides."

According to the listing on eBay, no returns of the coin will be accepted.

The coin, which is made of copper-nickel, was first introduced into circulation in 1983 and is now being sold on the secondary market for thousands of pounds.

Over 443 million of the 1983 round £1 coins were put into circulation, making it the highest mintage of the round £1.

The coin was later replaced by the new £1 coin in 2017, which is 12-sided and features new security features.

The coin is still legal tender today, despite being replaced by the new £1 coin.

However, due to inflation, the coin is now worth less than £1 in today's money.

According to The Royal Mint, collectors should always establish how much a coin is in circulation before committing to a price.

If in doubt, an expert should be consulted.

However, if people are looking to sell a coin on the secondary market and the coin has an unusually-low mintage, it might sell for higher than its face value.

Meanwhile, the condition of a coin is measured in relation to how much wear and tear it has suffered over the years.

The closer to mint condition (the condition it was in when it came off the production line at The Royal Mint) it is, the higher the value it could have.
