Robert Kiyosaki Doubles Down on Bitcoin (BTC) Bets, Takes Aim at Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger

Although no one has a perfect track record, following the cues of renowned investors can help make sense of an often chaotic and confusing financial landscape.

Robert Kiyosaki Doubles Down on Bitcoin (BTC) Bets, Takes Aim at Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger

Robert Kiyosaki, the author of "Rich Dad Poor Dad," recently took aim at Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger over their stance on Bitcoin (BTC).

Kiyosaki, known for his bullish views on the cryptocurrency, slammed the veteran investors for their opposition to BTC, questioning their relevance in the digital asset space.

In a recent post on social media platform X, Kiyosaki highlighted his support for Bitcoin and its role as a hedge against inflation, contrasting sharply with Buffett's views.

"I set a $350,000 price target for Bitcoin in 2025, and Buffett and Munger call it 'rat droppings,'" Kiyoski stated. "What do I care what they think about Bitcoin?"

However, Munger passed away in 2023, and Buffett's actual quote about Bitcoin in 2018 was "rat poison squared," not "rat droppings."

Kiyosaki went on to defend his investment strategy, emphasizing the importance of studying and understanding one's investments. He noted that he prefers to listen to those who are more knowledgeable in specific fields, such as Bitcoin.

"I agree with Buffett and Munger when they say, 'Know, study, and understand what you're investing in,'" Kiyosaki added. "But most importantly I’d [ask], 'What do you think about Bitcoin?' I'm getting richer investing in BTC, real estate, gold, and silver. Happy New Year!"

Bitcoin's price stood at $96,580 at the time of writing, boasting 125.54% in returns over the last twelve months.

Kiyosaki's statements appear to be a publicity stunt, considering Buffett's well-known value investing approach, which renders digital assets like Bitcoin largely incompatible with his investment philosophy.
