After a meeting of the PP-DB parliamentary group, they refused to give support and confirmed that they will be a strong opposition.

"First, there is no change in our position, but what we see is that there is no natural support for this government. Realistically, whether this government will happen or not depends on whether tonight Borisov and Peevski will be able to buy enough votes from other parliamentary groups. This is the truth, and for me it would be a shame if the next Bulgarian government was based on a bought vote in the parliament", said Kiril Petkov - co-chairman of PP-DB.

And the BSP did not change their position from the previous days.

"Yes. The group is categorically united. Our decision is extremely clear that we cannot support the first mandate of the GERB political party. Of course, I wish them success, they are the first in these elections, but in any case, the differences between us and GERB are very serious. We are for a social policy, for clarity in the governance of the state, not for backroom deals," said Borislav Gutsanov - chairman of the PG of the "BSP for Bulgaria":

"If it comes to handing over a third mandate, regardless of which party, we will gather the National Assembly of the BSP. This is the body that can make decisions. Our vision, you know, has always been for a government of national salvation," added Gutsanov.
