Free Elvis Presley Coin From The London Mint Office

Music fans can now claim a free Elvis Presley coin from The London Mint Office.

The commemorative 2024 half crown is shaped like a plectrum and features an image of the King of Rock and Roll in one of his iconic poses, along with his signature.

It is technically legal tender, but it is unlikely that anyone will want to spend it, given that one is currently listed on eBay for £24.99.

However, you don’t need to buy one on eBay, as The London Mint Office will let you have one of the 500,000 that have been specially minted.

All you need to do is pay the £2.50 postage. You’re only allowed to claim one per household.

To claim yours, visit The London Mint Office website and follow the link, which will take you to a page where you can fill in some details and apply to have one sent to you.

And, at the end of the day, if you don’t like it - in the unlikely event it leaves you all shook up - that’s alright, you can always return to sender. Because there’s a 14-day money-back guarantee.
