Bitcoin (BTC-USD) rose to a record topping $107,000, while other major cryptocurrencies advanced. The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks 126 digital assets, still dropped 1.8% in the past 24 hours.

The Nasdaq 100 rose 1.2% and the S&P 500 climbed 0.4%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average eased 0.2%.

Bitcoin earlier reached an all-time high of $107,780, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular digital currency was up 2.9% to $106,064 in late trading. Bitcoin’s 24-hour trading volume more than doubled to $96 billion.
