A stray dog who used to bring gifts to a man every day is now ready for adoption, thanks to the efforts of Happy Doggo.

The team initially set out to feed dogs on the streets of Thailand but has since evolved into an adoption centre dedicated to finding, assisting, and reuniting former stray dogs with families.

Their latest pup, Snickers, is now up for adoption and has already charmed the public. Niall Harbison from Happy Doggo shared the exciting news of Snickers' adoption process on Twitter, revealing it was "the best day of her life".

He posted: "A big update on little Snickers the street dog who used to bring me a present every day as a way of saying thanks for the food and care. It was Snickers first time ever on a beach. She said the feeling of the sand and the water was like nothing she'd ever experienced in life.

Neil then revealed he took Snickers to the beach for the first time, stating the dog "enjoyed her freedom and her new life".

Following their beach outing, the pup's prospects improved significantly. It was announced that she was available for adoption after receiving a clean bill of health.

"Snickers is now up for adoption. We checked all her medical tests. Made sure she will be ok in a home and got all her details in order," he shared. The-one-year-old dog was described as a "friendly, people-loving" pet who "shines through in every visit".

A description of Snickers revealed the kind of gifts she would present to Neil, stating: "This sweet, gentle soul lived her life on the streets but never missed a chance to show us her love. She was on our regular feeding route and we watched her grow up. Each time we went to feed her, Snickers would bring us gifts she'd found – a leaf, a plastic bag, a toy bulldozer."

Dogs from Happy Doggo can be sent to the United States, United Kingdom and European Union and would do well in a "home with no kids". Happy Doggo also disclosed the potential costs, stating: "
