Shiba Inu’s fourth ecosystem token, TREAT, is finally set to launch on several prominent crypto exchanges. According to separate announcements, KuCoin, Bitget, and Gate.io will be listing TREAT on January 14, 2025.

The token will be paired against Tether (USDT) on both KuCoin and Bitget, and spot trading will commence at 11:00 (UTC). Users will be able to deposit TREAT into their KuCoin, Gate.io, and Bitget accounts via the Ethereum network.

While users can withdraw their TREAT tokens from KuCoin at 10:00 (UTC) on January 15, 2025, withdrawals on Bitget will commence two hours later at 12:00 (UTC).

As part of the celebration, Bitget announced plans to airdrop 87.45 million TREAT to its users. According to the announcement, eligible Bitget users will be able to lock BGB or USDT in any designated campaign pool.

The locking period will run from January 14, 2025, at 11:00 (UTC) to January 17, 2025, at 12:00 (UTC). Notably, users who lock up BGB during the campaign period will earn a share of 79.5 million TREAT, while USDT stakers will participate in the sharing of 7.95 million TREAT.

A similar program to farm TREAT token is also live on KuCoin, where users can earn TREAT by completing simple tasks like making a TREAT deposit, trading TREAT/USDT, or inviting new users to join KuCoin and trade TREAT/USDT. Upon completing these tasks, users will stand a chance to win a share of a 200,000 TREAT prize pool on KuCoin.

Following the development, Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama highlighted the unique nature of TREAT’s initial listing on Bitget, Gate.io, and KuCoin.

In a tweet on January 10, 2025, Kusama stated, “When I said this launch will be like no others, this is one example. THE OFFICIAL $TREAT TOKEN will launch on various exchanges on day one, and we are very excited to name our first exchange! @bitgetglobal!”
