NFT marketplace Rarible has announced an initiative together with Arbitrum to empower on-chain creators and help them explore earning opportunities at the intersection of decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFT).

The initiative, called "DeFi Days," will see RARI Chain, a layer-3 on Arbitrum, play a central role in providing various earning opportunities for creators.

These opportunities include the commodification of creations, rewards for creators, decentralized exchange (DEX) swaps, and the generation of native yields.

The initiative will also see workshops being conducted for creators in the DeFi Studio, and a contest being held for creators with an IRL showcase in Bangkok.

The initiative will span eight weeks and aims to provide creators with a broad range of earning opportunities that extend beyond NFT sales.

This initiative will also serve to initiate a DeFi ecosystem on the RARI Chain that makes it easier for creators to explore and leverage economic opportunities for themselves.

The DeFi Studio workshops will be held both in-person and virtually, with some of the prominent locations being New York, Lisbon, and Bangkok.

The contest for Web3 artists is being curated by RARI Chain, Arbitrm, Refraction DAO, HUG, SheFi, and a curatorial team led by Aniko Berman and Justin Gilanyi of Codex Projects.
