TikTok user @CoinCollectingWizard has highlighted a particular 2p coin that could be worth a staggering amount, but there’s a catch – you need to spot a specific detail.

In his video, he’s seen sorting through coins. In it, he explains: “Searching for the rare New Pence 2p coin because this is what we do.

“This is a 2p coin and after the design changed from New Pence to Two Pence in 1982, a mistake was made during production of a small number of 1983 coins. While it’s not known exactly how many of these error coins were struck, in 1983 2p coins were only struck for commemorative sets and not issued for circulation.”
