
A 50p coin that celebrates the diversity of Britain is being sold on eBay for a staggering £36,999. The coin, which features Queen Elizabeth II on the back and the words “Diversity built Britain” on the front, was minted in 2020 and is said to be incredibly rare.
The seller claims that the coin is ungraded and has a fineness of 0.5. It is also said to be uncertified and was manufactured in the United Kingdom.
The coin is being sold on eBay for either £36,999 or the best offer, with delivery priced at £8.35. It is located just over the Oxfordshire border in Aylesbury.
Other similar rare 50p coins are also listed on eBay for huge profits, with some on sale for as much as £50,000.
