The seller claims that the coin is ungraded and has a fineness of 0.5. It is also said to be uncertified and was manufactured in the United Kingdom.
The coin is being sold on eBay for either £36,999 or the best offer, with delivery priced at £8.35. It is located just over the Oxfordshire border in Aylesbury.
Other similar rare 50p coins are also listed on eBay for huge profits, with some on sale for as much as £50,000.
