A Blackburn resident has listed one of the UK’s “most sought-after” coins on eBay for just £150.

Minted in November 2023, the Atlantic Salmon 50p coin is now the rarest in circulation - with only 200,000 created.

It depicts the fish on the back of a portrait of King Charles, knocking the highly collectable 2009 Kew Gardens 50p off the top spot for the first time.

The coin saw a major increase in value between June and December as its rarity became more well-known amongst coin collectors.
