Optimism (OP) airdropped over 10.36 million tokens to more than 54,700 addresses on Wednesday. The fifth airdrop was announced by Optimism teams to reward users for their contribution to the growth of the Superchain ecosystem.

The press release highlighted several applications that users could interact with to be eligible for the airdrop, including OP Mainnet, Base, Zora, Mode, Metal, Fraxtal, Cyber, Mint, Swan, Redstone, Lisk, Derive, BOB, Xterio, Polynomial, Race and Orderly.

To qualify for the airdrop, users had to interact with at least 20 smart contracts related to the mentioned projects. These interactions had to constitute at least 10% of the total transactions made on the Optimism networks during the snapshot period, which spanned from March 15 to September 15.

Depending on the level of involvement, the rewarded addresses received between 150 and 3,500 OP tokens, an amount ranging from $225 to $5,250 at the current price, despite a 6.75% decrease in the last 24 hours.
