Animoca Brands’ hypercasual gaming ecosystem Gamee has seen a recent uptick in activity, thanks in part to its move into web3 and the integration of Telegram's TON blockchain. Now, Gamee is expanding its blockchain gaming presence with the Wat Project, which has already attracted over 2 million TON wallets.

Gamee was already running games on social app Telegram before its move into web3. Now, however, the gaming network is seeing a significant increase in activity due to its migration of the GMEE token to Ethereum following a $15 million hack on Polygon at the start of 2024.
