Prior to this statement, Cramer had invested in Bitcoin, Ether and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), but he sold all of his crypto assets before making the comment.

Now, fast forward to January 2025, and Bitcoin is trading above $96,000. Taking into account Cramer's statement, which was made when Bitcoin was trading at $16,807, as per the CNBC video clip shared by Rizzo, the lead cryptocurrency has gained nearly 473% since then.
