On January 6, Tether's official X account unveiled this significant development through an announcement. Notably, this chain swap will involve transferring USDT from cold wallets to the Tron blockchain.

According to Tether, this operation will not alter the total supply of USDT. Instead, its objective is to optimize liquidity across multiple networks. This initiative will enable traders and users to effortlessly utilize their assets on any blockchain supported by Tether, including Ethereum, Solana, and Tron.
