As Shiba Inu ecosystem developers begin working to integrate Shiba Eternity with the Shibarium blockchain, the integration will change digital gaming and ownership, according to Lucie.

“Shiba Eternity will be our first game to fully run on Shibarium. This game will be a big step forward,” said Angel, Shib Games lead. Moreover, other aspects of the game were highlighted by Lucie, particularly in terms of how it will benefit BONE and SHIB, two tokens in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

The game will notably use BONE for all blockchain transactions, according to the marketing lead. As a result, the SHIB token will be burned, increasing the value of the ecosystem. As mentioned in our earlier report, the BONE token was initially created to SHIB holders. However, its goal was later shifted to facilitating SHIB burns via the Shibarium Layer-2 solution.

Consequently, the BONE token is now used to pay transaction fees across all Shibarium-based projects, including the upcoming Web3 version of Shiba Eternity. According to Lucie, users who wish to play this game will need to own Shiboshi NFTs as they await the utilization of the SHEboshi token.

Shiba Eternity’s NTF PlansUpon the successful integration of Shiba Eternity with Shibarium, the game’s card will be converted into Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). They can be stored in smart wallets and later traded on the upcoming Shib marketplace. Each card will be designed uniquely, meaning no two cards will have the same characteristics, making them more valuable to players.
