Kiyosaki cautioned on social media platform X on Thursday that the stock market collapse he predicted in his 2014 book Rich Dad’s Prophecy has now come true. The renowned author wrote:

Unlike Defined Benefit (DB) pension plans, which guarantee retirees a set payout regardless of market conditions, DC plans only provide what the individual has contributed, and those funds can be wiped out in a downturn.
