Nashville band Coin have announced their split amid two band members leaving the group.

The band consists of drummer Ryan Winnen, guitarist Joe Memmel, and lead singer and keyboardist Chase Lawrence. The latter took to Instagram with a heartfelt yet stern statement, announcing the trio's disbandment and the burning reasons behind the decision.

He penned: "I have recently become aware of some revelations around my bandmates and I want to share some thoughts directly with all of you. I believe in accountability and doing what’s right. Three months ago I made the decision to move forward without our drummer, and yesterday I parted ways with our guitarist.

He went on to state his mission to "create a space for love and joy through music" and how "heartbreaking" it is to find out that "this space has been compromised."

Concluding his statement with a final blow, Lawrence added: "Unfortunately, these developments have led me to the decision that COIN can no longer continue as a band. To our listeners, I am sorry for the disappointment this may bring.

The singer went on to tell fans that refunds for the upcoming tour will be available, but he reassured fans that he's "not done making music yet."

The news comes just weeks after Coin announced plans to tour without drummer Winnen, who left the band earlier this month “to focus on some personal matters.”

Coin was formed in 2012 while the members were attending Belmont University together. They began playing local shows around Nashville, and the band quickly amassed a passionate and devoted live following.
