Naraly Asanbaev has stepped down as the Editor-in-Chief of Erkin-Too newspaper, a government publication in Kyrgyzstan. Asanbaev confirmed his resignation to 24.kg news agency, stating that he left the post voluntarily.

In early February, the State Committee for National Security detained Isradin Subanbekov, one of the founders of the virtual asset MCN Coin. Later, Daniyar Zakirov, an employee of the 4th Department of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, announced on Birinchi Radio that $1,700 million had been returned to those affected by the actions of MCN Coin founders.
