GCash 和 PayPal 聯手在菲律賓推出穩定幣

GCash 在周二的聲明中表示，PayPal 的穩定幣 PayPal USD (PYUSD) 現已透過 GCash 在菲律賓市場上市。

Leading Philippine mobile wallet GCash has partnered with global payment firm PayPal to launch its stablecoin in the Philippines.

菲律賓領先的行動錢包 GCash 與全球支付公司 PayPal 合作，在菲律賓推出穩定幣。

In a statement on Tuesday, GCash said PayPal’s stablecoin PayPal USD (PYUSD) is now available in the Philippine market through GCash.

GCash 在周二的聲明中表示，PayPal 的穩定幣 PayPal USD (PYUSD) 現已透過 GCash 在菲律賓市場上市。

This will allow users and freelancers to easily send PYUSD tokens at low transaction fees to GCrypto, the in-app feature of GCash powered by PDAX.

這將允許用戶和自由工作者以低廉的交易費用輕鬆地將 PYUSD 代幣發送到 GCrypto，GCrypto 是由 PDAX 提供支援的 GCash 的應用程式內功能。

GCrypto users will also be able to buy, sell, and hold PYUSD tokens inside the GCash app.

PYUSD, issued by Paxos Trust Company, provides holders the benefits of fast and secure transactions while minimizing price volatility commonly associated with other digital assets.

The stablecoin employs multiple blockchains, including the Solana blockchain, which is currently powering more than double the blockchain traffic compared to the next leading blockchain network.

This gives users more flexibility and choices with stablecoins while providing faster and cheaper transactions utilizing the Solana Network.
