Under the updated terms of the partnership, EMTRI will now pay GCAC USD $0.35 per gram for tracking, tokenizing, and couponing cannabis cultivated on GCAC’s Efixii blockchain platform. This expanded fee structure forms a key component of the newly adopted EMTRI Cannabis Commodities Formula (CCF), a comprehensive blockchain-driven model that aims to incentivize quality production, enhance supply chain transparency, and boost consumer engagement through NFTs.

Cultivators meeting minimum production thresholds per batch will earn tokens that contribute to production costs and provide additional income through royalties on packaged products, aligning with EMTRI's commitment to a sustainable, high-quality cannabis supply chain. Currently, about 100,000 grams of cannabis are under cultivation and being tracked through the Efixii platform, with a target of 5 million grams being tracked and tokenized by the end of 2025.
