The announcement was made by Emirates News Agency (WAM) following the observation of the moon, which confirmed the absence of the Shawwal crescent moon.

The day will begin with the Eid prayer, performed in mosques and designated outdoor prayer areas across the country. Families will dress in their finest clothing, often new or traditional attire, and exchange greetings of “Eid Mubarak.”
