In a groundbreaking move, DWS has partnered with Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. to introduce Xtrackers Galaxy Physical Bitcoin ETC and Xtrackers Galaxy Physical Ethereum ETC, two exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) that provide investors with direct access to the digital asset market on Deutsche Börse. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the adoption of digital assets in Europe, leveraging the combined expertise of DWS and Galaxy Digital.

The ETCs are physically backed on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that each ETC unit is backed by an equivalent amount of the underlying cryptocurrency. Zodia Custody and Coinbase, industry-leading cryptocurrency custodians, provide secure storage and management of the underlying assets.
