Donald Trump’s DeFi project, known as World Liberty Financial, has recently undertaken a Tron (TRX) buying spree following its substantial Ethereum purchases earlier this week.

According to data from Arkham Intelligence, the project spent a total of $2.65 million in USDT stablecoin to increase its TRX holdings significantly. This surge in demand for TRX has led to a strong 5.76% surge in its price amidst fresh buying interest for the altcoin.

World Liberty Financial, a DeFi project owned by Donald Trump, has been aggressively expanding its cryptocurrency holdings with fresh Tron purchases.

According to data from Arkham Intelligence, the project recently spent 2.65M USDT to acquire 10.81M TRX. Following the current acquisition, the DeFi project now holds a total of 30.11M TRX, valued at $7.38M.

根據Arkham Intelligence數據顯示，該專案近期花費265萬USDT收購了1,081萬個TRX。此次收購後，該 DeFi 專案目前總計持有 3,011 萬個 TRX，價值 738 萬美元。

The latest purchase by the DeFi project follows massive Ethereum purchases earlier this week.

According to on-chain data, World Liberty swapped 5,252 ETH, amounting to 17.43M, for stETH, which was later staked with Lido Finance. Over the past three days, the fund has invested a total of $168.4M in six tokens.

This includes $99.95M in Ethereum, $47M of WBTC, $7.35M in Tron (TRX), and another $4.7M each in AAVE, ENA, and LINK. Interestingly, World Liberty Financial has increased its positions in every token except ONDO, as reported by Spot on Chain.
