Branimir Rakić is the Co-founder and CTO of Trace Labs, the team behind OriginTrail, a web3 project combining a Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG) with blockchain technologies.

Branimir’s journey in the tech industry began with freelancing, where he gained hands-on experience building and managing web applications. Later, he joined P3 Communications as a Network Testing Engineer, focusing on improving network performance. After freelancing, Branimir shifted his attention to teaching, becoming a Web Department Lecturer at SAE Institute. There, he imparted knowledge on web technologies, helping students develop technical skills.

In 2013, Branimir co-founded Trace Labs and OriginTrail with Tomaž Levak and Žiga Drev. As CTO, he played a pivotal role in shaping the platform’s ideas and technical setup. OriginTrail was conceived to address major challenges in food supply chains, particularly the lack of trust and communication between disparate systems. The aim was to build a decentralized platform for secure and transparent tracking of goods.

They’ve released the DKG Plugin for Eliza OS, which gives AI agents memory and better ways to work with data. The first AI agent, ChatDKG, is already live.
