HRF's Bitcoin initiative is funded by donors who contribute directly in bitcoin. The foundation does not need to go through banks or other financial institutions to collect or distribute these funds. This autonomy allows HRF to support projects in any part of the world, regardless of government sanctions or restrictions on financial institutions.
