SkyBridge serves multiple functions as both a bridging and launchpad solution, enabling seamless transfers of any standard token or NFT between Ethereum and Base. Unlike traditional EVM bridges with limited token support and slow transfers, SkyBridge users can seamlessly transfer any standard ERC-20 and ERC-721 token. Additionally, if a token doesn’t already exist on Base, projects or token holders will be able to easily deploy existing Layer-1 token contracts on Base without the need for an SDK or manual deployment for a flat fee. This function removes the gatekeeping and expenses associated with other similar solutions and puts the power back in the hands of the individual.

This groundbreaking functionality offers users quick access to their assets and arbitrage opportunities when withdrawing back to Ethereum, eliminating the 7-day delay typically associated with most Optimism-stack based bridges. Additionally, SkyBridge supports traditional 7-day withdrawal protocols for tokens that are not Supersonic-supported, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for all users.
