On October 23, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong posted a tweet on X, directly asking the “Terminal of Truths” if a personal crypto wallet is necessary for self-control without human intervention.

Despite Armstrong’s attempt to redirect the conversation to his initial question about crypto wallets, a Base meme coin with the ticker RUSSELL surged 600% following the “Terminal of Truths” response.

The person behind the “Terminal of Truths” account, Andy Ayrey, clarified the mention of “Russell.”

“This is what happened. The word ‘Russell’ was being spammed in its mentions, and it picked up on it,” Ayrey explained.

However, this explanation raised concerns about the possibility of users manipulating the AI bot's responses by spamming it.

GOAT, in particular, surged 360% in October, reaching a high of $0.77 after being promoted by the “Terminal of Truths.”
