"Mission: Impossible" star Tom Cruise had a small but mighty role in Fox’s Super Bowl pregame show on Sunday (February 12) ahead of the showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ahead of the game, which was kicking off at 6:30 p.m. ET, Fox was set to show a new teaser trailer for Cruise’s upcoming “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two,” which is now being billed as Cruise’s last adventure as IMF agent Ethan Hunt.

Also returning are Vanessa Kirby as Alanna Mitsopolis, Hayley Atwell as Grace, Esai Morales as the villain Gabriel, Shea Wigham as Jasper Briggs, Greg Tarzan Davis as Degas, Pom Klementieff as the assassin Paris and Henry Czerny as IMF director Eugene Kittridge.

Last year they beat the San Francisco 49ers to become back-to-back NFL champions and now the Eagles will be looking for revenge after the Chiefs beat them in 2023. Sunday’s game marks the fifth Super Bowl appearance for the Chiefs in six years.
