Back in early December, Welch, known for her viral Hawk Tuah video, joined forces with a team to launch her first-ever crypto project. The initiative quickly sparked backlash on social media, with many highlighting how the value of the memecoin dropped almost instantly.

Welch returned to social media on December 20, the day after the lawsuit was filed against the team, with a statement revealing her plans to “help uncover the truth, hold the responsible parties accountable.”
