Lagrange, the decentralized ZK Prover Network, has entered an agreement with Matter Labs to direct up to 75% of Matter Labs’ outsourced proof demand to the Lagrange Prover Network (LPN) over the next two years. This partnership marks a pivotal moment in furthering the ZK Stack’s transition to decentralized proof generation, with ZKsync poised to process an unprecedented amount of proving demand on a decentralized network at an unparalleled scale.

Earlier this year, in January 2025, Lagrange successfully deployed a decentralized version of ZKsync’s ZK Stack prover. This integration highlighted the potential of shifting from centralized single-entity solutions to a fully decentralized model for proof generation.

Throughout the last year, Lagrange has been diligently establishing that decentralized proving networks can not only match but also outperform centralized alternatives. The ZKsync ecosystem, known for its speed and efficiency, is rapidly expanding. It currently boasts nearly 25 ZK stack chains, 300 applications, and 1.3M onchain transactions in the last month alone, according to DappRadar.
