ネバダ州議会の第83回セッションの開設にちょうど間に合うように、カーソンシティのネバダ州立博物館での歴史的なコインプレスNo. 1は、毎週2月にネバダ州のシール記念メダリオンを鋳造します。

The Nevada State Museum in Carson City will be minting the Nevada State Seal Commemorative Medallion every Saturday in February on historic Coin Press No. 1.

カーソンシティのネバダ州立博物館は、毎週土曜日に歴史的なコインプレスNo. 1でネバダ州のシール記念メダリオンを鋳造します。

Coin Press No. 1 was operated at the Carson City Mint from 1870-1893. Today, the old Mint building is part of the museum complex, which houses the coin press that mints commemorative medallions from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday during the year, except on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

This month, Coin Press No. 1 will be minting the Nevada State Seal Commemorative Medallion as the 2025 Legislative Session begins.

The half ounce .999 fine silver medallion shows the Great Seal of the State of Nevada on its obverse.

The medallion’s reverse features Coin Press No. 1 and the famous CC mint mark.

Museum visitors can purchase a finished medallion in the store, or a planchet voucher to watch their silver round be minted into a medallion before their eyes.

The Nevada State Museum is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday and is located at 600 N. Carson Street in Carson City with parking off Curry and Robinson streets. Admission is $10 for adults.
