The 0G Foundation, which operates the largest decentralized AI network, has announced the completion of its node sale, which raised over $30M and marks the third-biggest fundraising in the history of the decentralized AI sector.
This development signifies a major milestone for the platform, which boasts the first operating system in the decentralized AI landscape for on-chain applications. With this fundraising, 0G Foundation will continue to pioneer innovative decentralized AI solutions.
0G Foundation noted that it sold 85,000 nodes to 8,500 users, collectively raising $30.6M, and achieved the second-highest record for new users entering a node sale.
The platform realized this fundraising through a combination of private and public funding, ensuring that 0G will launch with a vast and globally distributed node operator network. The public phase of the 0G AI Alignment Node Sale spanned six weeks and was supported by twenty leading launchpads.
Among these launchpads were Second Lane, SwissBorg, and CoinList, which contributed to the maximum participation and collection at the event.
The $30.6M raised through the node sale follows the previous seed and pre-seed raises, bringing the total funds secured by 0G Foundation to $400M over these funding rounds.
NFT Holders to Receive Token Supply Share and More Rewards
With its scalable, transparent, and open infrastructure, the 0G Foundation aims to leverage this fundraising to fulfill its goal of establishing a community-centric and decentralized ecosystem, where node operators will have a significant say in further development.
As node operators, those holding NFTs will receive fifteen percent of the total 0G token supply over the next three years, among other rewards.
