As part of a new initiative, BNB Chain has announced a $100 million funding program to boost the liquidity of its native projects on centralized exchanges.

To qualify for the program, projects must maintain a market capitalization of at least $5 million and a minimum daily trading volume of $1 million.

According to a March 24 statement, BNB Chain will be allocating $100 million—primarily in its native BNB tokens—to incentivize projects that secure listings on any of 11 major CEXs.

The program aims to “further enhance BNB Chain’s ecosystem liquidity and foster project growth by incentivizing exchanges to list native BNB Chain tokens,” the chain said in the statement.

Previously, BNB Chain distributed two rounds of $4.4 million in February and March through smaller liquidity programs that promoted CEX listings for memecoins and other ecosystem projects.

According to the chain, it will be distributing the latest liquidity initiative on a first-come, first-served basis and will test the program over an initial three-month period.

As part of its eligibility criteria, BNB Chain mandates that projects hold a market capitalization of at least $5 million and a daily trading volume of at least $1 million.
